Today Congress has spoken even above the voices of the American People. Imagine listening first and then doing what may be a step in another new dimension of government intervention into the private sector. Remember, this is an election year and many Congressional aspirants are up for re-election. In addition, the Senate holds three of the four persons on the Presidential and Vice-Presidential tickets. How much will these votes really cost the American Taxpayers in the long run? Does anyone really care about the moral and ethical aspects of this bailout? What are the positions of the candidates on Life issues?
Today requires all Americans to reassess their respect for themselves, for their families, for their communities, for their various States, and for the United States of America. IN GOD WE TRUST has now become the cornerstone of our Country's future! Yes, our Country will survive this crisis and dilemma only if priorities are set in motion to restore CONFIDENCE in our Nation, in our Government, in our Congress, in our political candidates for public office, and in realizing that God is the Creator of all of our citizens and prospective citizens. A positive point of view is needed for those who are without jobs, who are without their homes, who are in jeopardy of losing their life savings, and who are in need of new horizons, new goals, and NEW HOPE. Negativism begets negativism. In reassessing our true values and our reaffirmed commitment, we need to make adjustments to our lifestyles that may have been running out of control. Using credit wisely is a new found lesson for many who are facing foreclosure and personal bankruptcy. IN GOD WE TRUST takes on a whole new look for all.
America has been blessed by God in many respects, but America has ignored and tabled God's blessings and has extended its own blessings of GREED, LUST, ENVY, SLANDER, AND HATE. Where is the love that is needed to restore the true image of God's presence among His people? If you say you love God but you hate your neighbor, YOU ARE A LIAR! Taking advantage of the vulnerable and the dependent always comes back to haunt not only the predator but also the victim. When we use SMEAR, DISCREDIT, AND DESTROY on all of those who support the sanctity and the sacredness of human life at all levels of dependency by calling them anti-whatever, we see the irony of their actions when they use the pro-whatever as their armament. Choosing Life requires COURAGE!
To attack is to put the innocent on the defensive. By their fruits you shall know them. Those who live by the sword will also die by the sword. Let us pray and get down on our knees and ask forgiveness for the hate, the harm, and the injustice that has been caused on the most innocent of our American culture...THE UNBORN. Let us remember that we are all CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. We need AMERICANS OF COURAGE who will step up to the plate and will be leaders who respect life at all levels of development and dependency. We need AMERICANS OF COURAGE who will give a positive example to all of the potential leaders of the future of our Blessed Country. We need AMERICANS OF COURAGE who will be committed to SERVE rather than PLAY GAMES with our time, our talents, and our treasures.
In about a month, all registered American voters will be asked to make choices of candidates for public office at the local, county, state, and national levels. In the selection process, remember to do your homework and your research for the candidates that will SERVE and will be COMMITTED TO RESPECTING their constituency at all levels of dependency and status and condition. Pray first and ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to assist you in your selection process. LET YOUR CONSCIENCE BE YOUR GUIDE, and REMEMBER TO DO YOUR CIVIL DUTY...VOTE AS THOUGH YOUR LIFE AND YOUR EXISTENCE DEPENDED ON THAT SACRED TRUST. YES, IN GOD WE TRUST!

Although there are pros and cons on both sides of this financial crisis, one aspect is extremely clear...USE CREDIT WISELY. There have been many people who have been duped to believe that they can refinance their home purchase within a short period of time and make a fortune. The vultures love to prey on the innocent and the naive. Some consumer credit analysis for each person should always indicate that they have a scale of living (what they actually get in net pay or resources) and the standard of living (what they are willing to risk for buying now and paying later through extensive credit). Being hungry for every technological invention and device and willing to risk their future by their cravings has put many families, especially young families, in the "dark hole of credit crunch." As many others have discovered, some of these families will have to learn to live within their means and to reduce their debts over time. Our federal government gives us the idea that you can SPEND, SPEND, SPEND...TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES. Yes, even the United States of America is finding out that you have to learn to live within a BALANCED BUDGET. Too many foreign countries OWN too much of the United States of America. What would happen if these countries decided to call in the "markers?"
IN GOD WE TRUST is a better solution that SPEND, SPEND, SPEND without any thought of SOUND STEWARDSHIP, which is required of ALL GOD'S CHILDREN, especially those in political office at all levels. GROW UP AMERICA...THE LIFE YOU SAVE MAY BE YOUR OWN..AMERICA BLESS GOD, because God has already blest America.
