SCAN, QUESTION, READ, RECITE, REVIEW THE DEMOCRATIC AND THE REPUBLICAN 2008 PLATFORM AGENDAS

With all of the emphasis on becoming knowledgeable in this Election Year, my fear is that few registered voters have taken the time and the energy to read from cover to cover the 2008 Democratic and Republican Platforms as completed after each Party's respective conventions. You will be surprised at the actual content and the differences that are being promoted and planned for the future of our Great Nation. However, the media has made the point of avoiding the discussion of both Platforms in the printed and in the TV portions of the press and the general media. Are these people afraid to have the general public become aware of why we are in the present economic crisis and what the dire consequences that may be on the horizon? Find out for yourself the authors and the Committee responsible for writing and editing these Party Platforms for 2008. You may also find that the Democratic Party omits the names of the contributors and the entire Committee responsible for adopting the 2008 Democratic Platform.

Using your search engines, you will find copies of both the Democratic and the Republican 2008 Platforms that were adopted at their summer conventions. See if you can identify the authors and the contributors to those documents. You may want to SCAN the documents first, then QUESTION the various sections with a pen or pencil in hand. Next, you may want to READ the entire documents while taking marginal notes. Next, you may want to RECITE aloud some areas that sound "questionable" to you; and conclude by REVIEWING all of your notations and certain sections of each document. This information is being omitted from debates, from newscasts, from editorials, and from magazine articles. All that we are witnessing is the negativism of character assassinations of each public candidate running for President, Vice-President, House of Representatives, and the Senate. Give the general public the facts, and allow the registered voters to vote their conscience based on solid, factual information provided by both political parties.

WE DO HAVE AN INFORMED PUBLIC, BUT WE NEED TO HAVE THEM BETTER INFORMED WITH OBJECTIVE INFORMATION THAT GIVES INFORMATION FOR BETTER DECISION MAKING. FREEDOMS COME WITH A PRICE TAG AND MANY SACRIFICES. "WE HOLD THESE TRUTHS TO BE SELF-EVIDENT, THAT ALL MEN (AND WOMEN) ARE CREATED EQUAL AND THAT THEY ARE ENDOWED BY THEIR CREATOR WITH CERTAIN INALIENABLE RIGHTS THAT AMONG THEM ARE LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS...." (Declaration of Independence)

REMEMBER TO VOTE ON NOVEMBER 4 AFTER YOU HAVE DONE YOUR RESEARCH EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY ON BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES PHILOSOPHIES AND PLATFORMS FOR 2008. YOUR INFORMED VOTE WILL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!
