Happy Dads' Day for all Fathers who love being a Dad

"Anyone can be a father but it takes a special someone to be a Daddy."  This saying was on a coffee mug that was given to me by my children many years ago.   The children understood the meaning of that saying because being a Dad is contrary to being "controversial."  What is open for positive debate is that there is a tremendous need for Dads to be committed to their responsibility as parents.  Children need their Dads from conception to natural death. In observing those Dads who honestly take the stewardship seriously to their families brings about a better opportunity for those children as they are encouraged to grow in their wisdom. Lifelong Learning begins with a emphasis on a total commitment to respecting the value and the dignity of each precious and priceless human being.  Children look for examples and models of living lives worthy of their models and adult examples.  Dads who air, care, share, and bear are worthy of the name even in challenging times with the current secular humanistic mentality.  Rising above what "everyone else is doing" or the "popular thing to do," Dads are living a sound example to be emulated by their children even when the children are seeking their own independence.  Earning respect is earned by sound behaviors even in difficult circumstances.  A person is unable to buy respect; each person must earn respect because these persons are sincere...they ring true.  Actions do speak louder than words; and an adult's actions are judged by the persons who love them the most even when these persons disagree with the adult's actions.  Also, a Dad's response is to give respect for their family members starting with their spouse and other adults in their environments.  Also, when positive discipline is necessary to bring about a positive behavior, children respect their Dads if the actions are fair with positive understanding.

Let us take this special day, "Fathers Day, Dads Day, Grandfathers Day, Great-Grandfathers Dad," to remind us that those who take the responsibility of being a Dad requires a holistic approach in providing service to their spouse and to their children every day.  We appreciate all of those Dads who have made their commitment to their families to be a lifelong adventurer who experiences many successes and challenges along the way.  Earn And Give Everyone Respect for a Change of Heart!  (E.A.G.E.R. for a Change of Heart)...May the blessings of Almighty God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit descend upon all Dads this day and every day and remain with them now and forever.  Amen.
